This past season, THE BEST OF BROADWAY toured the country,
delighting audiences in over twenty states from coast

from THE SONGS OF ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER and A GERSHWIN CELEBRATION
to BROADWAY SHOWSTOPPERS and HOLIDAY ON BROADWAY, combine
current blockbuster hits with classic songs, all interwoven
with a fascinating and entertaining narrative thread.
In
keeping with our mission to bring music to audiences of
all ages, we are proud to be included on the California
Arts Council roster of sponsored artists. Our outreach
programs have been specifically designed to introduce
young people - from the early grades through high school
and college students - to the transforming and uplifting
power of music. Whether through "informances",
master classes, lecture - demonstrations or children's
concerts, we are committed to sharing our passion for
music so that future audiences will continue to enjoy
the excitement of live music and theater for years to
come.
Our
talented performers have performed everywhere from Carnegie
Hall to the White House and have starred in such blockbuster
shows as LES MISERABLES, WICKED, EVITA and PHANTOM OF
THE OPERA. Their thrilling voices can be experienced with
the intimacy of piano, the excitement of a five or ten
piece band or with the grandeur of full orchestra. This
enables us to customize a show to fit virtually any budget
or venue. Join the many presenters who, after bringing
our show to their theater, have asked us back for an encore
engagement. THE BEST OF BROADWAY is guaranteed to delight
your audience with an evening of unparalleled entertainment.

of Music in both voice and piano and a master's degree from
the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. She was then
awarded a grant for a year's study at the Opernschule of the
Hochschule fur Musik in Munich, Germany. Serving on the music
faculty of California State University at Northridge, she
is frequently sought after as a recitalist and master class
clinician. Ms. Ketchie is sponsored by the California Arts
Council as one of their touring artists. Last summer she was
presented as recitalist and master teacher by the Music Teachers
Association of California at their state convention.

as a solo artist. In concert with orchestra last season, she
put her lovely soprano voice on display in classic Gershwin
songs and then dazzled the audience with a thrilling and virtuosic
rendition of RHAPSODY IN BLUE. She has recently been featured
as both singer and pianist on four National Public Radio broadcasts.
She first displayed her dual talents in the premiere of the
opera, ORPHEUS IN LOVE at the Circle Repertory Theater Off-Broadway.
Of her performance, Bernard Holland of THE NEW YORK TIMES
stated, "Diane Ketchie, in a stunning display of virtuosity,
whizzes through difficult piano music and sings beautifully.
I can think of no one in the Broadway, popular or classical
world who could do all the things she does and do them so
well."
VALERIE PERRI

performance in the lead role of Eva Peron in the Tony Award-winning

Smith of the Valley Daily News, Seattle, Washington reported,
"This Evita beats the Broadway original. Valerie Perri
is brilliant. With energy and precision, she transforms Evita
into one of the great acting-singing roles of contemporary
musical theater. Her voice sails through the difficult role
with ease, making the most of every musical opportunity, while
her dancing is equally impressive."
